ABSTRACT

@#Objective To compare the effects of simple eye movement training and eye movement training combined with traction test on the vision after orbital blowout fracture. Methods 143 cases with orbital blowout fracture after operation were divided into the experimental group (63 cases) and control group (80 cases). The experimental group was treated with eye movement training and passive traction test within 3 days after operation, while the control group was treated with eye movement training alone. The changes of diplopias of all patients were observed. Results The efficient rate in the experimental group was 93.6% (59/63), that of the control group was 72.5% (58/80). The effect of the experimental group was superior to that of the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion The eye movement training combined with traction test can improve the diplopia of the patients with orbital blowout fracture after operation.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To determine the concentration of phenobarbital(PBB) in serum by RP-HPLC.METHODS: The analytical column was C18.The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(44∶56) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 205 nm and the temperature of column was set at 35℃.RESULTS: A good linear relationship was obtained for PBB at a concentration range from 5.08 ?g?mL-1 to 63.50 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9).The mean relative recovery was 99.75% and the mean extraction recovery was 96.34%.The intra-day RSD and the inter-day RSD were all less than 4%.CONCLUSION: This method is simple, rapid, accurate, and suitable for therapeutic drug monitoring.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate changes of platelet activation in the elderly patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)before and after the application of nasal continuous positive airway pressure(nCPAP). Methods Ninety patients diagnosed as OSAHS by polysomnography(PSG)were selected as trial group,30 non-OSAHS by PSG were as control group, and 16 severe OSAHS patients were treated by nCPAP and taken as nCPAP therapy group. GMP-140 and GPⅡb/Ⅲa were measured by ELISA and compared in these groups. Results Plasma levels of GMP-140 and GPⅡb/Ⅲa of patients with moderate and severe OSAHS were (16.6?2.3)?g/L vs (18.9?3.1)?g/L, and 38 468?952/ 49 673?1037 vs 39 867?1264/50 899?2476 respectively; and those of control group were (14.8?2.1) ?g/L, 37 672?769/ 48 469?1672 respectively.Plasma levels of GMP-140 and GPⅡb/Ⅲa were significantly higher in patients with moderate to severe OSAHS than those in control group(P

ABSTRACT

AIM: To establish chromatogram figerprints of fresh Magnoliae officinalis and their processed product by HPLC-DAD-MS method. METHODS: A HPLC-DAD-MS method was proposed for quality assessment of Magnoliae officinalis and their processed product, the HPLC columm, mobile phase, elution mode and gradient program were optimized in order to obtain high quality HPLC profile.HPLC analysis was performed on a LC-18 colunm(5 ?m,250 mm?4.6 mm) with the mixture of H_2O(A) and acetonitrile(B) as mobile phase in gradient mode. The colunm temperature was set up at 30 ℃ and the flow rate was 1 mL/min. RESULTS: The HPLC fingerprint was established based on the analysis of ten fresh Magnoliae officqinalis herbal samples.Twenty-two characteristic peaks were found in all ten samples. The main characteristic peaks were identified based on the comparison of UV and MS spectra of each analyte with that of authentic compounds and literature data. The HPLC fingerprint of processed Magnoliae officinalis was established.Comparing with corresponding fresh herbal samples,twent-three characteristic peaks were found in all ten processed herbal samples. Moreover, gingerol was found in processed Magnoliae officinalis. CONCLUSION: The fingerprint chromatograms from HPLC method can be used to evaluate the quality of Magnoliae officinalis and their processed products.
